In the wake of the Hall of Fame induction of Washington Redskins greats Darrell Green & Art Monk, it is fitting that today's new version of the Redskins will open the 2008 preseason near that same Hall in Canton, Ohio. Sunday night's outing matches the Washington Redskins against an admittedly watered down version of the Indianapolis Colts. Labels: hall of fame game, pro football, sports, washington redskins
The 2008 Hall of Fame Game may go down for who won't be playing much (or at all) with Redskins starting quarterback Jason Campbell only expected in for a series, running back Clinton Portis & defensive end Jason Taylor among those off entirely and Colts superstar Peyton Manning nowhere near his uniform. What should be memorable though is to see how the soft spoken Jim Zorn reacts to his first game of any kind in the head coaching role.
Start time is 8 p.m. EDT on NBC (WRC/4) television and the Redskins Radio Network, led by new flagship station WTEM/980.
