Virginia, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Navy in NCAA women’s golf tournament

The 2024 NCAA DI women’s golf tournament will feature four teams from the Washington, DC region with the Virginia Cavaliers, Maryland Terrapins, Virginia Tech Hokies and Navy Midshipmen all announced. Virginia, Maryland & Virginia Tech go in with at large bids while Navy qualified through its Patriot League tournament victory.

ACC schools Virginia and Virginia Tech will each travel out west to the Cle Elum Regional in Washington state hosted by Washington. The Cavaliers garnered the #4 seed in the regional as a favorite to advance while the Hokies come in as the #8 regional seed.

The Big Ten’s Maryland Terrapins will go to the south central United States as the #7 seed of the Bryan Regional in Texas. The Patriot League champion Navy Midshipmen will get to stay relatively close to home, making the short trip to North Carolina for the Bermuda Run Regional hosted by Wake Forest as its #12 seed.
