An Air Quality Alert is in effect Tuesday, June 24, 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: Cecil, southeast Harford.

…AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT FOR TUESDAY JUNE 24 2025…

Maryland Department of the Environment has issued a Code Orange Air Quality Alert for Ground Level Ozone for Northeast Maryland on Tuesday.

A Code Orange Air Quality Alert means that air pollution concentrations within the region may become unhealthy for sensitive groups. Sensitive groups include children, people suffering from asthma, heart disease or other lung diseases and the elderly. The effects of air pollution can be minimized by avoiding strenuous activity or exercise outdoors.

An Air Quality Alert means that Ground Level Ozone concentrations within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards. For additional information, please visit the Maryland Department of the
