A Coastal Flood Watch remains in effect from 7 pm Sunday, October 12 to 3 am Monday, October 13, 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: Anne Arundel.

…COASTAL FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH LATE SUNDAY NIGHT…
…COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IS CANCELLED…

WHAT…Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level possible in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.

WHERE…Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.

WHEN…From Sunday evening through late Sunday night, especially around the time of high tide.

IMPACTS…At 3.0 feet, Compromise Street begins to flood in Annapolis. Flooding of much of the City Dock parking lot is occurring.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Tides one to one and a half feet above normal. The next high tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at 9:20 AM and 11:05 PM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.

Time of high total tides are approximate to the nearest hour.

…COASTAL FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING…

WHAT…For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. For the Coastal Flood Watch, up to one foot of inundation above ground level possible in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.

WHERE…Shoreline in St. Marys County.

WHEN…For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 5 AM to 9 AM EDT Sunday, especially around the time of high tide. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening, especially around the time of high tide.

IMPACTS…At 3.5 feet, water covers roads on Saint George Island, is in yards, and is approaching structures. To the east, inundation is occurring at multiple marinas off St. Mary’s River, Smith Creek, and Jutland Creek.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Tides two to two and a half feet above normal. The next high tide at Coltons Point is at 7:35 AM and 7:48 PM. The next high tide at Piney Point is at 6:59 AM and 7:12 PM. The next high tide at Point Lookout is at 5:41 AM and 6:44 PM.
