 A Coastal Flood Watch remains in effect from 1 am Thursday, October 30 to 1 am Friday, October 31, 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

WHAT…For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one half foot of inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. For the Coastal Flood Watch, one to two feet of inundation above ground level possible in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.
WHERE…Shoreline in Calvert County.
WHEN…For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 1 AM EDT Thursday, especially around the time of high tide. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from late tonight through late Thursday night, especially around the time of high tide.
IMPACTS…Through this evening, high tides around 3.0 feet are expected, which results in several inches of water on Charles Street and Williams Street in Solomons, and water reaching backyards near 9th Street in North Beach. For late Wednesday night through Thursday night, tide levels of 3.5 to 4.3 feet are possible. At 4.0 feet, portions of 7th, 8th, and 9th Streets will flood in North Beach, with homes affected near 9th Street. At 4.0 feet, flooding of structures near Charles Street in Solomons is possible. Yards, parking lots, and portions of both Charles and Williams Street are covered by more than a foot of water.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Tides one to two feet above normal through this evening and two and a half to three feet above normal Thursday. The next high tides at Chesapeake Beach are 10:03 AM and 10:35 PM. The next high tides at Solomons Island are 8:07 AM and 8:50 PM.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
Time of high total tides are approximate to the nearest hour.

MARYLAND: St. Mary’s.

…COASTAL FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING…
WHAT…Up to two feet of inundation above ground level possible in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.
WHERE…Shoreline in St. Marys County.
WHEN…From this evening through Thursday evening, especially around the time of high tide.
IMPACTS…At 3.5 feet, water covers roads on Saint George Island, is in yards, and is approaching structures. To the east, inundation is occurring at multiple marinas off St. Mary`s River, Smith Creek, and Jutland Creek. Water levels around 3.5 to 4.5 feet are possible. At 4.0 feet, low spots along Palmer Road are flooded with at least a foot of water.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Tides two and a half to three feet above normal. The next high tides at Coltons Point are 8:54 AM and 9:07 PM. The next high tides at Piney Point are 8:18 AM and 8:31 PM. The next high tides at Point Lookout are 7:22 AM and 7:54 PM.
