A Wind Advisory remains in effect to 11 am Thursday, November 27, 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: western Allegany, Garrett.
VIRGINIA: Highland, northern/central Blue Ridge.
WEST VIRGINIA: western Grant, western Mineral, Pendleton.

…WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST THIS MORNING…

WHAT…West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

WHERE…Portions of western Maryland, central, northwest, and western Virginia, and eastern West Virginia.

WHEN…Until 11 AM EST this morning.

IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
