WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
WHERE…A portion of northern Virginia, including the following county, Prince William.
WHEN…Until 600 PM EDT Monday.
IMPACTS…Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1152 AM EDT, Gauge reports along Cedar Run near Aden indicated flooding is occurring in the warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
