 A Flood Warning is now in effect to 10 pm Thursday, July 17, 2025 including the following jurisdictions.
VIRGINIA: Prince William.

…FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING…
WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
WHERE…A portion of northern Virginia, including the following county, Prince William.
WHEN…Until 1000 PM EDT.
IMPACTS…Fleetwood Drive will be closed. Other low lying areas along Cedar Run and its tributaries may be flooded.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
 – At 743 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated flooding along Cedar Run. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area.
 – Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.
 – Some locations that will experience flooding include…
 Manassas…                        Nokesville…
 Aden…
 – At 730 PM, Cedar Run near Aden was at 11.1 feet and falling. The stream should fall below flood stage by late evening.
