A Flood Watch remains in effect to 9 pm Wednesday, August 13, 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: Baltimore, Baltimore City, Cecil, Harford.

…FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING…

WHAT…Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

WHERE…Portions of northeast and northern Maryland, including the following areas, in northeast Maryland, Cecil. In northern Maryland, Northern Baltimore, Northwest Harford, Southeast Harford and Southern Baltimore.

WHEN…Until 9 PM EDT this evening.

IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Thunderstorms are likely into this evening with heavy rainfall within a short period of time. Localized rainfall amounts around 1 to 2 inches within an hour are likely. Multiple rounds of storms are possible with total rainfall amounts around 2 to 4 inches. This may cause creeks and small streams to rise out of their banks with flash flooding possible.
