A Heat Advisory remains in effect to 7 pm Saturday, July 26, 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

VIRGINIA: Orange, Culpeper, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, southern Fauquier.

…HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 8 PM EDT SUNDAY…

WHAT…Heat index values around 105 expected.

WHERE…King George, Orange, Spotsylvania, Culpeper, Southern Fauquier, and Stafford Counties.

WHEN…For the first Heat Advisory, until 7 PM EDT this evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from noon to 8 PM EDT Sunday.

IMPACTS…Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
 


 
A Heat Advisory remains in effect Saturday, June 26 to 8 pm Sunday, July 27, 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

VIRGINIA: Caroline, Westmoreland.

WHAT…Heat index values of 105 to 109.

WHERE…Portions of central, east central, eastern, north central, south central, and southeast Virginia.

WHEN…Until 8 PM EDT Sunday.
