A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect to 7:15 pm Sunday, October 19, 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: northwestern Washington, northeastern Allegany.
West VIRGINIA: northern Morgan.

Until 715 PM EDT.

At 635 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Inglesmith to 6 miles southwest of Berkeley Springs, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

Locations impacted include…
Hancock, Berkeley Springs, Great Cacapon, Pecktonville, Forest Park, Lineburg, Bellegrove, Berryville, Spohrs Crossroads, Sleepy Creek, and Shady Grove.
