MARYLAND: Anne Arundel, Prince George’s, Charles, Calvert, St. Mary’s, Kent, Queen Anne’s, Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester, Wicomico, Somerset, Worcester.
VIRGINIA: King George, Westmoreland, Caroline.

Coastal Waters
Effective this Monday night from 815 PM until Midnight EDT.
Primary threats include…
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
A tornado or two possible
SUMMARY…A line of low-topped convection should continue to pose some risk for scattered severe/damaging winds as it moves quickly east-northeastward this evening.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles east and west of a line from 15 miles east northeast of Wilmington DE to 40 miles southwest of Norfolk VA. For a complete depiction of the watch see the associated watch outline update (WOUS64 KWNS WOU1).

REMEMBER…A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce tornadoes.
