DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.
MARYLAND: southern Baltimore, Baltimore City, Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, Charles, St. Mary’s, Calvert, central/southeast Montgomery, central/southeast Howard, southeast Harford.
VIRGINIA: Nelson, Albemarle, Fairfax, Arlington, Falls Church, Alexandria, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, central/southeast Prince William, Manassas, Manassas Park.

WHAT…Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 29 expected, especially in outlying areas away from larger bodies of water.
WHERE…Portions of DC, central, northern, and southern Maryland, and central and northern Virginia.
WHEN…Until 10 AM EDT this morning.
IMPACTS…Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
To prevent water pipes from freezing, wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly.
