A Wind Advisory remains in effect Wednesday, November 5 to 1 am Thursday, November 6, 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: Allegany, Garrett.
VIRGINIA: Highland, Blue Ridge.
WEST VIRGINIA: Hampshire, Hardy, Grant, Mineral, Pendleton.

…WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST THURSDAY…

WHAT…West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

WHERE…Portions of western Maryland, eastern West Virginia, and northwestern Virginia.

WHEN…Until 1 AM EST Thursday.

IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
