WHAT…Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
WHERE…In Virginia, Central Virginia Blue Ridge and Northern Virginia Blue Ridge, and Western Highland County. In West Virginia, Western Grant and Western Pendleton Counties.
WHEN…Until 10 PM EST this evening.
IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Expect wind chills to fall into the single digits and to below zero at elevations above 3000 feet this afternoon and into this evening.
