WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches possible, locally up to 10 inches along the ridgetops. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.
WHERE…Western Garrett County.
WHEN…From Wednesday morning through Thursday afternoon.
IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Initially mixing in with rain, expect a change to all snow by mid-morning on Wednesday. Snowfall picks up in intensity on Wednesday afternoon and evening where rates of 1 inch per hour are possible. Blustery winds will lead to areas of blowing snow and significant reductions in visibility.
