A Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect to 7 am Saturday, December 6. 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.
MARYLAND: Baltimore City, southern Baltimore, Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, Charles, St. Mary’s, Calvert, Montgomery, Howard, southeast Harford.
VIRGINIA: Orange, Culpeper, Fairfax, Arlington, Falls Church, Alexandria, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, southern Fauquier, eastern Loudoun, Prince William, Manassas, Manassas Park.

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST THIS MORNING…

WHAT…Light freezing drizzle. Additional ice accumulations around a light glaze.

WHERE…DC, central, northern, and southern Maryland, and central and northern Virginia.

WHEN…Until 7 AM EST this morning.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS…In addition to light freezing drizzle and fog, any melted snow will refreeze as temperatures drop back into the 20s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

WHAT…Occasional light freezing drizzle…mixed with snow at times. Total ice accumulations around a glaze.

WHERE…In Maryland, Eastern Garrett and Western Garrett Counties. In West Virginia, Western Grant County.

WHEN…Until 7 AM EST this morning.

IMPACTS…Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS…In addition to light freezing drizzle and fog, any melted snow will refreeze as temperatures drop back into the 20s.
