A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect to 5 pm Monday, December 8. 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

VIRGINIA: Augusta, Rockingham, Nelson, Albemarle, central Blue Ridge.

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON…

WHAT…Snow. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 4 inches, locally higher along the ridges.

WHERE…Albemarle, Nelson, Augusta, and Rockingham Counties, and Central Virginia Blue Ridge.

WHEN…Until 5 PM EST this afternoon.

IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening commute.

WHERE…Greene County, and Northern Virginia Blue Ridge.

WHEN…Until 5 PM EST this afternoon.

IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening commute.
