‍A Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect to 11 am Wednesday, April 24, 2024 including the following Washington, DC region jurisdictions.
‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ 

MARYLAND: Anne Arundel.
‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

‍…COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EDT THIS MORNING…

* WHAT…One foot of inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE…Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.

* WHEN…Until 11 AM EDT this morning, especially around the time of high tide.

* IMPACTS…At 3.2 feet, water begins to approach businesses on Dock Street in Annapolis. The City Dock parking lot is flooded. Compromise Street is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Tides one and a half to two feet above normal.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.

Time of high total tides are approximate to the nearest hour.
