VIRGINIA: Clarke, Culpeper, Fairfax, Stafford, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William, Manassas, Manassas Park.

…FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING…

WHAT…Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

WHERE…Portions of northern and northwest Virginia, including the following areas, in northern Virginia, Central and Southeast Prince William/Manassas/Manassas Park, Culpeper, Eastern Loudoun, Fairfax, Northern Fauquier, Northwest Prince William, Southern Fauquier, Stafford and Western Loudoun. In northwest Virginia, Clarke.

WHEN…Until 10 PM EDT this evening.

IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Additional scattered thunderstorms may produce localized rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches in an hour resulting in flash flooding this evening.
