A Frost Advisory remains in effect to 8 am Friday, May 1, 2026 including the following jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: western Allegany, Garrett.
VIRGINIA: eastern Highland.
WEST VIRGINIA: eastern Grant, western Mineral, eastern Pendleton.

…FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT THIS MORNING…

WHAT…Temperatures as low as 34 will result in frost formation.

WHERE…In Maryland, Eastern Garrett, Extreme Western Allegany, and Western Garrett Counties. In Virginia, Eastern Highland County. In West Virginia, Eastern Grant, Eastern Pendleton, and Western Mineral Counties.

WHEN…Until 8 AM EDT this morning.

IMPACTS…Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
