A Frost Advisory remains in effect to 9 am Sunday, May 3, 2026 including the following jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: Washington, Frederick, Carroll, northern Baltimore, northwest Harford.
VIRGINIA: Frederick, Page, Warren, Clarke, Nelson, Albemarle, Greene, Madison, Rappahannock, Orange, Culpeper, northern Fauquier, western Loudoun.
WEST VIRGINIA: Morgan, Berkeley, Jefferson.

…FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING…

WHAT…Temperatures as low as 33 to 36 degrees will result in frost formation.

WHERE…Portions of north central and northern Maryland, central, northern, and northwest Virginia, and panhandle West Virginia.

WHEN…Until 9 AM EDT this morning.

IMPACTS…Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
